Batman 1966 Tv Series

After so many Batman movies, why do I still Like the 1966 TV Series the best?
Holy Sheet metal, Batman, why is that?
Maybe you like the comedy in the ’66 series better than the seriousness of the later movies. Besides, Batman Returns and Batman and Robin stank. B&R isn’t as bad as they say, but it’s basically a terrible remake of the 60′s series! Returns was flat-out embarassing! That’s two out of five (soon to be six) right there! One-third of the movies! Batman: The Motion Picture is a little rough at a few points, depending on what your tolerance level is for things like violence, gross-outs, sexuality, etc. Batman Forever was entertaining, but not the best movie ever, and terrible in regards to portraying the Batman character. Adam West was actually a decent parody of his generation’s Batman! Batman Begins is definately high-quality, in addition to protraying the spirit of the comics well. However, if this was not “your kind of movie,” you could theorectically understand that it is better-done (writing, music, etc) overall, but enjoy the West ’66 series better. Also, if this is the Batman you “grew up with,” it’s possible that the nostalgia of watching the series is affecting your enjoyment of it. Does this help?
